**This is a specialized class that culminates in a performance for ONLY those actors who have demonstrated the skill and commitment necessary to pursue this mature level production.  It is strictly limited to a small number of actors.  It is our only program that casts according to enhancing each performer’s weakest areas as demonstrated at the time of the audition.  A $100.00 non-refundable security deposit is due on or before the audition to secure your child’s placement in this class. This is not a production for those looking to be in leading roles only but an advanced level class designed to provide your child the most challenging role that will enhance current skill weaknesses in the individual actor.  It is specifically geared to the serious performer that is seeking personalized instruction for developing stronger performance skills.

Spring Audition Expectations & Policies

Kidz Konnection prides itself on finding the talent inside each performer. We accept all talent levels and work to find meaningful roles for each of our actors. When casting for a show, placement of performers is based on age, scheduling availability, loyalty to Kidz Konnection, previous experience, and the student’s audition.

**Kidz Konnection reserves the right to take any previous behavioral or conduct problems into account when casting each production. Students that have consistently demonstrated poor behavior towards their peers, cast, and crew members, or directors during past productions, both within the studio and when interacting with their peers online or outside of the studio, may not be considered for lead roles or may be advised to not take part in a certain production. Part of our mission at Kidz Konnection is to encourage and maintain an inclusive environment that fosters teamwork, kindness, and support within the cast. Any actor that chooses to ignore our code of conduct may be asked to remove him or herself from any given production at any point during the rehearsal process.**

Practice Schedules:

We work very hard to arrange rehearsals according to the majority of our actors’ schedules. Times and dates change depending on the cast and production. All rehearsals dates will be communicated to you after you are cast in the production.

Additional Rehearsals: Additional rehearsals may be added at any time, depending on the scenes that need the most work. We ask for flexibility, understanding that practice is a critical component of a quality production. These extra rehearsals are not mandatory, but attendance is taken into consideration for future casting. Prior to scheduling extra rehearsals, we try to connect with parents and work to accommodate the majority of schedules.

Tech Week:

Tech week is MANDATORY. Any actor who doesn’t attend is dropped from the production. Rehearsals run every evening right up until the performance. Actors must attend the entire rehearsal all week. Each production has a slightly different schedule and we try to let parents know up front what is expected.

**In the case of emergency situations, we will decide the correct course of action on a case by case basis.**

Pricing:

Pricing for our spring productions will vary based on the level of direction that each student in each program is receiving. Our EDGE programs are professional level acting, singing, and dancing direction and are priced as such. Our KIDS productions are a similar experience to the Tiny Thespians program offered for our Fall and Winter Mainstage productions and therefore is the same price as that program.

There is a 10% discount for families with multiple children in the production.
