Advanced Acting Troupe:

Each season, a group of students serious about honing their acting skills may participate in a dramatic play. Play is determined seasonally, and may include thought-provoking discussion and analysis of the material, era, and socially conscious debate.

Pre-screening/audition required. Parental discretion advised prior to registration as mature content may be performed. Please email kidzkonnectionct@gmail.com for an audition/interview.

Advanced Musical Theater:

Rehearsals: Saturdays, 10:00-2:30pm l Mandatory Tech Week:Sunday,11/26-11/30 Show Dates: 12/01, 02, 08 and 09 and Christmas in Clinton Mandatory Community Outreach 12/03

*7th and 8th graders must be currently enrolled students, and also be signed up for one of the Main stage/Jr show/Advanced Play running congruent to the advanced musical they are wanting to participate in

**9th graders must be signed up for either the fall mainstage musical, the fall advanced play or two classes running at the Academy

***Actors are only permitted to miss 3 rehearsals, must be available for all of tech week and all performances. Any breach of this will mean immediate dismissal from the show without refund. No exceptions will be made

Fall Mainstage: Beauty and the Beast

The Fall Mainstage Productions offer the young performer opportunities to perform in a large cast experience on a big stage regardless of age. Rehearsals are tailored to the child’s current age/grade level and become more rigorous and challenging as the child ages. Students may choose between a Tuesday or Thursday rehearsal option for most roles. Major Lead and Supporting Leading roles will require 2 day rehearsals and will be determined at casting. Students unable to make longer rehearsal commitments may continue to perform in the mainstage but may be limited in type of role offered. Every student, regardless of skill level, will receive a role. A $50 non-refundable security deposit is required to secure a spot prior to casting.
