Classes and rehearsals begin the week of September 19th. Classes will run for 6 weeks. There will be no Mary Poppins rehearsal on Thursday, Oct. 20th. Mary Poppins Auditions are September 6th, 7th, and 8th.

Tiny Thespians
A weekly class that gives young gives children who are new to performing an opportunity to perform in our Fall Mainstage Production, Mary Poppins, in a more intimate setting. Students will be given at least two scenes and/or dances with the larger cast within the show that they work on during class time. They perform their scenes during the performance of the Fall Show and participate in all full cast activities including tech week. No audition necessary for this group.

Junior Thespians
Great for young emerging performers. Students will receive ensemble roles in the larger cast, learning at least 2 dance numbers and working on 1 scene to participate in with the larger cast, culminating in a full mainstage performance at the Clinton Town Hall the third weekend of November. No audition necessary for this level.

Beginner Fight Choreography/Slapstick Comedy
A fun and energetic 6-week class for students looking to learn or improve their ability to perform choreographed fights on stage. In this class, students will learn the basics of physical stage-fighting using fake weapons and their bodies. Students will explore everything from slap-stick humor to fully choreographed sword-fights.

Intermediate/Advanced Fight Choreography
This class is a continuation of our beginner program. Students will begin focusing on the more technical fight choreography. Including throwing and stunting. Any student that signs up for this class must be pre-approved to join by our fight choreography instructor.
Tap/Jazz Combo for the Tween & Teen Beginner
A traditional 6-week class for students looking to improve their dance skills. Many young people discover theater over time and once bit by the bug realize they are missing essential dance skills to get top roles in high school theater or professionally. This class is designed to teach the older actor the critical basics to tap dancing in an age-friendly environment. This high energy, full of fun moves class will have you tapping with confidence at auditions in no time!

New class: Ballet Contemporary Fusion Intensive
The class also explores ways to increase one’s artistic capacity through inspiration by movement, music, and philosophy.

Advanced Tap
All students who wish to participate in this class must be evaluated by our head dance teacher/choreographer, Maria Lonetti. This class is for advanced level performers who have prior experience with dance and/or theater.

Little Play Makers
A fun drama class designed specifically for children who are in grades 1/2. Children learn to use their imaginations in a fun and cooperative environment to encourage kindness and positive social skills while discovering a love for the performing arts.

Comedy Central
A traditional 8-week class for older students looking for a class to explore comedy and improvisation. Students work separately and together to develop comic skits and routines appropriate for each age level.

After 19 years as a prisoner, Jean Valjean is freed by Javert, the officer in charge of the prison workforce. Valjean promptly breaks parole but later uses money from stolen silver to reinvent himself as a mayor and factory owner. Javert vows to bring Valjean back to prison. Eight years later, Valjean becomes the guardian of a child named Cosette after her mother’s death, but Javert’s relentless pursuit means that peace will be a long time coming.
Rehearsals: Saturdays, 10:00-2:30pm l Mandatory Tech Week:Sunday, 11/27-11/30 l Show Dates: December 1 – 3 (Christmas in Clinton 12/4 special performance) and December 9th and 10th.
*7th and 8th graders must be currently enrolled students. A limited number of 7/8th grade students area accepted into this program. To be considered students must already be signed up for a Mainstage production/Jr Musical or Advanced Play running congruent to the advanced musical they wish to register for. All 7th/8th grade students must contact kidzkonnectionct@gmail.com before registering for this production.
**9th graders are required to be enrolled in at least 2 classes during the same season or one of the productions running congruent to the Advanced Level Musical program (The Advanced Play or Mainstage musical).
**Actors are only permitted to miss 3 rehearsals, must be available for all of tech week and all performances. Any breach of this will mean immediate dismissal from the show with out refund. No exceptions will be made.
